CBO-750 Tailgater

Take the fire to the crowd.

Catering, festivals, private parties or game day. The Tailgater brings a CBO-750 brick oven to your event on a purpose-built aluminum trailer, with wood-fired and LP Hybrid configurations to suit the way you cook.

  • A bigger menu at every stop.

Go from pizza to roasted vegetables, cast-iron dishes and meats. The refractory hearth and dome retain heat, while FlameRoll™ brings the fire across the cooking chamber.

  • Built around the event.

A single-axle aluminum trailer and integrated locking storage keep the oven and your event gear together. Bring the cooking experience right to your guests.

  • Make it yours. Keep it working.

Choose a standard hood finish or ask about custom colors for your business or team. A removable metal hood and replaceable oven components support long-term maintenance.

Talk through my event setup

How your oven cooks

Heat from every direction.

The low dome and vent draw flame across the dome and down the side — CBO’s FlameRoll™. Radiant heat, convection and conduction work together throughout the oven.

Convection

Heat that moves.

Air drawn through the opening heats inside the oven, moves toward the back and rises, then flows toward the flue. This continuous circulation carries heat through the cooking chamber.

Radiant heat

Fire and stored heat.

The fire and heat stored in the dome, walls and hearth radiate energy throughout the chamber. That retained heat keeps working as the oven cools.

Conduction

Heat through contact.

The hot hearth transfers heat directly to food or cookware in contact with it. Preheated cookware can then pass that heat directly to the food.

Heat from every direction.

Illustrations show wood-fired cooking principles. Oven size and fuel equipment vary by model.

Two ways to fire it up

The live-fire experience

Wood-fired

Build and manage a wood fire for the aroma, atmosphere and hands-on cooking experience that brings people around the oven.

Select “Wood” in the configurator.

Propane convenience, wood-fired character

LP Hybrid

Add propane heating with a two-burner system: an ambient burner heats the chamber and an infrared burner heats beneath the hearth. You can also cook with wood.

Select a “Liquid Propane (LP)” option.

A few more details

Good questions. Clear answers.

Fuel, finishes and getting to your next event. Here are the details buyers ask about most.

Ask our team
Can I use the Tailgater for catering or events?

The Tailgater is designed for mobile cooking at catered events, festivals and private gatherings. Share your menu, expected service volume and planned locations with our team so we can help you choose a configuration.

Does the LP Hybrid option also cook with wood?

Can I customize the hood?

Silver Vein, Copper Vein and Solar Black are available in the configurator. Ask our team about custom colors or branding for your business, family or team, including pricing and lead time.

What should I confirm before towing?

Review the complete trailer specifications, loaded weight, hitch, electrical connection and your tow vehicle’s ratings. Include the equipment and supplies you plan to carry when discussing your setup with our team.

Trailer & setup
