Our story / Chicago Brick Oven

It began with three neighbors.

In 2006, a conversation about buying one brick oven became the beginning of Chicago Brick Oven. The idea was simple: bring the pleasure of wood-fired cooking closer to home.

Good food gives us a reason to gather.

Chicago / 2006

One oven. A bigger idea.

Our founders were looking for an oven for their own neighborhood. Their search raised practical questions: How long would delivery take? What would happen if an oven arrived damaged? Who could help with installation or replacement parts?

Answering those questions became the starting point for a business—one that brought classic brick-oven design together with American engineering and manufacturing.

What began as a conversation among neighbors grew into Chicago Brick Oven. That original reason for gathering still shapes the way we think about our ovens.

What carries forward

A love of the fire. And everything around it.

The craft of cooking.

A visible fire, a heated hearth, and the freedom to cook beyond pizza. The oven invites you to learn, experiment, and make the meal your own.
