The Insulating Door does what it should, holds residual heat in your oven sufficient to permit baking the next day. Pizza's Friday night....chocolate chip cookies on Saturday morning. Fits snug, looks high quality and is deceptively heavy. Not much more to say.
Worked Great! Really enjoyed the bread we were able to make because of it.
The door fits snug as per the instructional video. I have not yet used the oven door for cooking, but I believe I need to be able to have the door open somewhat to regulate the cooking temperature and to allow oxygen into the oven to keep the wood burning. When having it partially open, it is a little cumbersome to position, but like I said, I have not yet used for cooking, and it may work out just fine---hence dour stars versus five. I may rate as a five after cooking a meal.
