Ingredients

  • 1 (8–12 oz) ball of dough – store-bought or homemade
  • 6 graham crackers, crushed
  • 3 graham crackers, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 (12 oz) bag of milk chocolate morsels or bar equivalent
  • 1 bag of marshmallows (small or large)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

How to Make S’mores Pizza

  1. Preheat the Oven: Fire up your CBO oven to 600+°F. Use an infrared thermometer to check the temperature for accurate baking.
  2. Prepare the Dough: Hand-roll the ball of dough and knead in crushed graham crackers. Flatten the dough to a quarter-inch thickness with a rolling pin, shaping it into a circular shell.
  3. Pre-Bake the Shell: Place the dough on a pizza pan or screen and pre-bake in the brick oven for 1–2 minutes until firm but not fully cooked.
  4. Add Chocolate & Toppings: Remove the shell from the oven. Melt chocolate in the microwave and brush it evenly over the dough. Sprinkle bite-sized graham cracker pieces and arrange marshmallows across the top.
  5. Bake the Dessert Pizza: Place the prepared shell directly on the oven hearth. Bake for 2–3 minutes until marshmallows turn golden brown, turning the pizza as needed. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.
  6. Finishing Touches: Remove the pizza and dust lightly with powdered sugar. Slice and serve immediately.

Great suggestions, Michael. If it were me, I’d add Chambourd. ;)

OMG – rolling pin? NEVER! Stretch the dough by hand and make a pizza. Rolling gives you a flatbread. Also try using a sweetened ricotta “sauce” with liqueur of your choice (or vanilla) topped with chocolate, marshmallows and crumbled grahams. How can you go wrong! Enjoy.
